The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items
you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the Statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.
Professional Services
Basic Services of funeral Director and Staff

Our fee for the basic services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to initial request for service; arrangement conference with family and responsible parties; arrangement of funeral; preparation and filing of necessary authorizations and permits; recording vital statistics; preparation and placement of obituary notice; care of body; and coordination with those providing other portions of the funeral. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facilities such as professional licensing, legal, and accounting fees, insurance, building and utility expenses, maintenance, taxes, equipment, furnishings, and administrative expenses.
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials, and forwarding or receiving remains)
Embalming
$895
Except in certain special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not embalming you usually have the right to choose an arrangement such as direct cremation or immediate burial, that does not require you to pay for it.

This charge does not include use of facilities for viewing or ceremony, shipping charges, any merchandise or cash advanced items.
Receiving Remains from Another Funeral Home

Our charge for this service includes transfer of remains from local point of transportation to funeral home, basic service of funeral director and staff, hearse to cemetery and utility vehicle. This charge does not include use of facilities for viewing or ceremony, supervision of graveside ceremony, shipping charges, any merchandise or cash advance items.
Transfer of unembalmed remains to another local funeral director

Our charge includes removal from place of death, storage of remains for up to 72 hours, use of preparation/storage facilities and overhead, minimum service of funeral director.

This charge does not include preparation of body, our involvement in planning of ceremony, use of facilities for viewing or ceremony, any merchandise or cash advance items.
If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). The containers we provide are card board containers. All merchandise must meet crematory requirements
